What's this Minet business? One of the roads that borders Loughborough Estate is called Minet Road, after a French family who were obsessed with cats. There are cat gargoyles on a lot of the old houses round there.
Minet is french for cat, and Minou is like calling "kitty". Didand is French for Turkey, the bird - the factory where she is from is full of Turks. The little bitch doesn't reply to English. Only French so far. Or Kurdish or Turkish.
